Balanitis 龜頭炎
Balanoposthitis 龜頭包皮炎

* 注意一些 risk factor : Phimosis, DM, STD
 

- Infection :

• Candida
• Bacteria : Strept, anerobic
• Chlamydial, Gonococcal, HSV, scabies, Syphilis, Trichomoniasis,     
  Chancroid, Molluscum contagiosum

- Trauma

- Others :

• Fixed drug eruption
• Contact dermatitis, Dermatitis/allergy
• Reactive arthritis ( Reiter )
• Psoriasis

Treatment :
  - Proper hygiene

  - Antibiotic ointment
    Empirical application of topical antibiotic ointment (eg, Polysporin, Bacitracin)
    Ointments with neomycin may cause contact dermatitis, should be avoided.
  - Topical antibiotics (metronidazole cream) 

  - Topical antifungal agents, usually for one to three weeks.
     First-line therapy includes a topical imidazole for candida
  - Low-potency steroid creams for Contact dermatitis
     Hydrocortisone cream

  - Reactive arthritis ( Reiter ) : self-limited
  - Circumcision if recurrence
