POCUS :
Acute lung edema > 3 B-lines per rib space
B-line is a hyperechogenic, coherent bundle with a narrow base
that arises from the pleural line and spreads from the transducer to the edge of the screen.
B lines are also called "comet tail artifacts".
When several B lines are visible, the term used is "lung rockets".
The presence of > 3 B-lines per rib space
suggests the presence of interstitial pulmonary fluid.
